Waad Al-Bayari
A Palestinian artist born in 2004, she studies at Al-Aqsa University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Decoration. She is a member of several art groups such as ‘Banafsaj Team - Tamer Institute for Community Education’. She has participated in numerous art workshops and courses in various visual arts, as well as in many joint art exhibitions. One of her paintings won the Madame Humanité Award for 2022. She is interested in humanitarian issues and expresses them through her paintings. During the war, she worked to provide art workshops for children and young people and transform their experiences into visual works that carry humanitarian messages. She also worked during the war to transform the stories of women in Gaza into paintings.
