Ahmed Muhanna

Born in 1984 in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. A Palestinian visual artist whose work combines artistic expression with a human dimension. His work focuses on issues of war, displacement and collective memory, transforming pain and destruction into a visual language that conveys hope and resistance. He has participated in a number of workshops and exhibitions in Palestine and around the world.

He has participated in art workshops with children in displacement camps, attempting through drawing and art to open a window for them to express their feelings and rebuild hope. His artwork is characterised by symbolism and a human dimension, using colours and lines to embody the impact of war on the Palestinian people while highlighting art's ability to survive as a tool for expression and survival.


Ahmed Muhanna was part of Sahab Urgent Grant Program 2025.
