Fouad Khater
Fouad Khater is a contemporary visual artist, born in 1997 in Khan Younis, Palestine. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza.
He has participated in numerous local and international group exhibitions. He later dedicated himself fully to the field of visual arts, taking part in various artistic workshops, including printmaking and engraving at Eltaqa Gallery, as well as workshops in aesthetics and exhibition management at Dar al-Kalima University. He was also part of the “Wasla” program organized by Shababeek for Contemporary Art, among other workshops.
Khater has trained a large number of students through specialized art workshops. In 2022, he worked with UNRWA on the implementation of peace murals. He also served as a trainer for a “Fundamentals of Drawing” workshop at Dar al-Kalima University, and as a cultural facilitator in several institutions, including the Palestinian Child Cultural Center (CFTA), within UNICEF’s “Back to Learning” program.
He has participated in several artistic initiatives, most recently the “Light Rhythms” initiative, supported by the Al-Raha grant from the A. M. Qattan Foundation.
Additionally, he took part in the Sahab Studio at the Arab World Institute in Paris, participated in the “Artist to Artist” project in Oslo, and engaged in various international and Arab exhibitions, which expanded his artistic experience on a global level.
He participated to “L’Avenir du Nuage” at Institut du Monde Arabe (2023) and to the immersive installation “A Place to Be” at Palais de Tokyo (2024).
