Khaled Jarada

Khaled Jarada is a Palestinian visual artist and illustrator, born in 1996 in Gaza, Palestine. He lives and works in Paris and is currently hosted at Artagon-Pantin. Through drawing and animation, Jarada creates scenes that appear captured in the midst of action, featuring anxious and unstable figures shaped by the temporal and spatial tensions of exile and displacement. His work gives presence to overlooked bodies, moments, and details, transforming them into subjects of memory and contemplation. Jarada has participated in several international residencies and exhibitions, including a residency at Shababeek Studio in Gaza supported by the Qattan Foundation (2020), a residency at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (2021), and a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (2025). In 2024, he presented his first solo exhibition, Non Key Frame, in Dubai and participated in the group exhibition Musée Sahab at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. He also received a Special Mention for the Prix Reiffers Art Initiatives.
