Rawan Murad
A visual artist born in Gaza City in 1998. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Al-Aqsa University (2021). She began developing her artistic practice independently in 2020, and later participated in numerous art courses, workshops, and events, in addition to taking part in local group exhibitions.
In 2022, she received a production grant at Shababek Studio and participated in a workshop at Sahab Studio at the Arab International Institute. In 2025, she obtained a local art residency as part of the Spanish Strip Art project, as well as a production grant within the “Transformations” project. She also won the Sahab Lab Program in 2025.
Through her artistic practice, she seeks continuous learning and to benefit from available experiences and opportunities.
Rawan Murad participated to “A Place to Be” immersive installation at Palais de Tokyo (2024) and to the Urgent Grant Program.
