Mohammed Harb, Art in the Face of the Violence, 2025
In Gaza, where the air turns to ash and dreams to rubble, I hold the brush as a soft weapon and the canvas as a field of dignity. I mix colors not to paint beauty, but to recreate what has been destroyed. In every brushstroke, I evoke loss, but I also cultivate life.
In every painting, I confront violence with the language of composition, transforming silence into a scream, color into memory, and white space into a mirror of an indomitable spirit.
If destruction has a visible impact, then art has an unforgettable impact. “A Painting for Every Rocket” is not just an artistic initiative, but also a personal stance, a voice that says: If destruction has a visible impact, then art has an unforgettable impact.
