They are visual attempts to understand the inexplicable...and to bring out into the open the accumulated turmoil of war within the soul. In this work, the sounds that have stuck in visual memory are transformed into paintings pulsating with emotion...sounds that were not words, but rather images, situations, moments of explosion, silence, fear, and the search for survival.
