The Sahab Museum is a virtual, multi-space experience conceived by the Hawaf collective. Imagined as a non-institutional imaginary museum, it offers a new way of engaging with Gaza’s heritage, history and contemporary artistic practices beyond physical borders. The platform is inspired by the architecture of Gaza’s old town and is structured as a series of interconnected environments. Within this space, visitors can explore, collect and curate artworks, reflecting a vision of the museum as a site of community and co-creation rather than authority. Meaning “cloud” in Arabic, Sahab wants to bring together different Palestinian artists and collectives, including Maan for Gaza Artists and Dahaleez in 2026, while fostering new forms of artistic production and collective imagination.
Every six months, the Sahab Museum will present two new exhibitions conceived by Palestinian and international collectives. They will contribute to this multi-user, cross-platform virtual museum built on Spatial, designed to host and expand a network of artistic collectives through immersive digital environments.

Curated artworks (approx. 10–40 pieces per collective)

A narrative spatial experience
General Objective : To build a sustainable, decentralized virtual museum ecosystem that enables artistic collectives to create, exhibit, and disseminate work through immersive spatial experiences.
Specific Objectives :
- Develop high-quality virtual exhibition spaces
- Support and give visibility to Palestianian creation and community
- Enable digital memory of artworks
- Enable global access through multi-user environments
- Strengthen non-extractive cultural production models
- Expand Sahab’s ecosystem into immersive and interactive formats

2 new collectives are integrated
Each collective develops a custom virtual exhibition space
The museum grows as a modular, evolving digital ecosystem
