Salem Awad
A visual artist from Palestine, holding a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts – Painting Department at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. He is a member of the Palestinian Plastic Artists Association. His works have gone beyond academic study to engage in research and experimentation. He held a solo exhibition titled “Utopia.” He has participated in group exhibitions in Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, including “Echoes of the Earth,” “This Is Not an Exhibition” organized by the Palestinian Museum, “Colors from Gaza,” “Colors of Hope,” the UNDP-organized Art Auction Exhibition (Jerusalem), “From Stone to Sea,” and “Diaries of Our Lives Here in Gaza” (Amman, Jordan). In addition, he has taken part in several local and regional art workshops.
