Sahab Lab Program FOCUS

Sahab Lab is designed to support Palestinian artists in developing and producing new work, and accompany them in transforming their artistic practice into forms of publication and dissemination.

FOCUS is a three-week mentoring program dedicated to supporting selected artists from Sahab Lab in developing a publication as an extension of their artistic practice. Conceived as a continuation of the Lab, the program shifts the emphasis from production to dissemination, equipping artists with the tools to document, contextualize, and share their work beyond the moment of creation.

Led by a publishing specialist, FOCUS introduces participants to editorial thinking, documentation practices, and diverse publication formats, including zines, digital outputs, and hybrid forms. The program also explores collective publishing processes and dissemination strategies, encouraging artists to engage actively in how their work circulates.

By the end of the program, each participant produces a publication that complements their artwork, contributing to a broader ecosystem of artistic visibility and cultural memory. In parallel, the Sahab team receives long-term support to ensure the dissemination and sustainability of these publications.
